McPhersonClarke: AMCs Combine To Better
Serve Clients
Calgary, AB, Canada – In
July 2003, McPherson Management Ltd. purchased Clarke Association Services
Inc. based out of Ottawa, Ontario, marking a significant milestone for both
companies. This formal working partnership has been something that we
have been working towards for more than a year. With Clarke
Association Services Inc. being in business for more than 15 years, and
McPherson Management Ltd. for 25 years, we have formed one of the most
dynamic national Association Management and Conference Management firms in
existence in Canada, managing local, provincial, national and international
associations and conferences. This move also enhances the firm's
ability to serve its growing North American client base.
McPherson Management Ltd. and Clarke
Association Services Inc. will continue to offer our clients the highest
quality of professionalism and service. We envision ourselves as
becoming the International leader in the association management and
conference planning industries.
We want to assure all of our clients
that there will be no impact on our relationship with you. You can
continue to deal with the same people, in the same locations using the same
contact information. Our contract details with you will also remain
unchanged as again, we want to make certain that you are unaffected by our
new company arrangement.
McPherson Management Ltd. and Clarke
Association Services Inc. will be led by our Management Team consisting of
Greg McPherson, Isabel McPherson, Elizabeth Clarke, and Bonnie James.
Elizabeth Clarke will remain with the firm and will work as Chief
Executive Officer. In June 2003, we brought together our staff of
professionals from both offices and we can assure you that our staff is
very supportive of our new arrangement and remains 100 percent committed to
delivering high quality, reliable service that our clients can depend on.
Over the next several months, you will
begin to see the name McPhersonClarke appear on all of our correspondence.
We will have a new website and email addresses to reflect our new brand and
will be answering our main telephone lines as McPhersonClarke. This
will not affect any of our clients as your emails and correspondence will
remain unchanged.
McPhersonClarke will act as the "trade
name" for both McPherson Management Ltd. and Clarke Association Services
Inc. until such time when we formally move to merge both companies into
one. For now, both companies will operate separately but will
actively market together as McPhersonClarke. Again, I want to assure
you that you will experience little or no impact with our new company
arrangement, not now, nor in the future. We will keep you up-to-date
as we move through some of these company changes.
We are confident and optimistic about
our future. We will be a newly branded company, and we will continue
to be an energized and financially strong company that has demonstrated
business momentum and success. We hope that with our new arrangement,
you, our clients, will also see some positive changes and new opportunities
available from our firm.
